HORSESHOW RULES

Horse Show General Parking
All trailers 17 feet or over will park on the back row of top parking lot, back into or pull in.
All trailers 16 feet or under will park on the front row of the top parking lot, back into or pull in.
NO SIDEWAY PARKING

GATE FEE: 2 free passes per horse in pull vehicle, all others pay regular gate fee. Negative Coggins test papers required at gate. No dogs except guide dogs. The Lincoln County Fair and/or all affiliates are not responsible or liable for any injury, damages, theft or loss sustained in any way to exhibitors, spectators, volunteers, horses or property. *To be eligible to run in Lincoln County Barrels - horse, owner & rider must be resident of Lincoln County.
Traveling trophy awarded to 1st place finisher. If won 3 years with same horse and rider, it becomes the property of the winner.
FLAG RACE-Must write on entry form how you will run, inside or outside when signing up.
 

SPEED SHOW RULES

1. NO SHOOTING THE GATE - Offenders will be disqualified. No Exceptions.
2. Western Attire Required - No ball caps, tennis shoes, or T-shirts. Hats not required.
3. Running order will be announced at the start of each class.
4. Entries will close 1 class prior to class currently running.
5. Negative Coggins and out-of-state health certificates are required and will be checked at
check in point.
6. 2 fair entry for each horse in trailer.
7. No refunds.

HORSESHOW RULES

The Lincoln County Fair, Inc,. and/or all affiliates are not responsible or liable for any injury, damages, theft or losses sustained in any way to exhibitors, volunteers, horses or property.
 
GENERAL RULES
1. Current Neg. Coggins and out of state health papers are required for all horses showing or entering the Lincoln County Fairgrounds for all horse show events.
2. GATE FEE - 2 free passes per horse in pull vehicle, all others must pay regular gate fee. Because of limited parking, we ask that only vehicles pulling horse trailers enter parking area and that you park according to directions provided at fairgrounds.
3. All horses will be properly controlled at all times, both in and out of the arena, and will not be ridden to the endangerment of anyone and should be properly trained for the classes entered.  Any unsportsmanlike conduct or mistreatment of any animal will result in the disqualification and forfeiture of all entries and will be asked to leave the fairgrounds.
4. All entry forms must be signed. Youth forms must be signed by the parent or guardian - who must remain present on show grounds during the entire show.
5. Any protests arising during the show shall be presented in writing the day of the show. along with $50.00 to the Show Chairperson who will present the protest to the Show Committee. The Committee will then render a decision by majority vote of those committee members present. The 550.00 will be held. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!
6. Proper attire is required for ALL classes, Western, English, Gaited and Speed. No T-shirts. ball caps or sneakers.
7. Classes close one class prior to class currently in arena.
8. Age of Rider and Jr. and Senior horses as of January 1,2005: Youth show = 18 years and under; Pony riders = 13 years and under.
9. Riders in Lead-Line or Walk-Trot may not enter any other riding classes, but may enter Showmanship Halter and Costume Class in the Open Youth Horse & Pony Show.
10. A two minute gate will be in effect after class has entered arena. PLEASE BE READY ON TIME.
11. No dogs except guide dogs.
12. NO ALCOHOL in horse area-possession will result in removal from fairgrounds.
13. All horses large and small will be judged on the same scale in Open Halter Class.
14. No ponies/horses under 52" permitted in under saddle classes in the Open Western Pleasure & Semi-society Shows.
