A) A horse may not be shown in walk/trot classes if being shown
in canter classes B) Persons under 18 must wear a helmet for all classes C) Classes will include the canter unless indicated as walk/trot by “w/t” D) Show staff will announce warm-up times and reserve the right to combine and/or split classes E) Classes are divided into 3 groups - 1) Jr - 17 and younger - 2) Ad. Am. - Adult Amateur (can not have been paid for work with horses) or Novice horse (in its first year of showing) When no Ad. Am class is offered please enter the “Open” - 3) Open- Everyone welcome. |

You may nominate for year end awards for any/all categories that
you are eligible for, paying $10 per nomination per horse/rider
combo. Points start accumulating once nomination is paid. Riders are to wear Short or long sleeve collared shirt, long pants and boots. Riders under 18 are to wear a helmet at all times. No one of any age will be penalized for wearing a riding helmet. Riders are not required to have fancy show clothes, but a neat, clean turn-out is best. Riders' numbers should be visible to the judge. Horse and Tack: Horses should be neat and clean. “Show tack” is not required, although clean tack in good repair is best. No training equipment on horses (leg wraps, tie downs, draw reins, standing martingale {running is acceptable}, harsh bits etc...) Bit should be appropriate for discipline you are riding in. (AQHA/APHA rules apply for which bits are acceptable to use) *Barn opens one hour before registration begins. *Good Horsemanship and Good Sportsmanship is expected from all riders and coaches. *Please follow the direction of show staff in order to help make sure the show runs efficiently. * Must give a 3 class notice for adding/scratching classes *Patterns will be posted before start of show *Gaited horses welcome in any class *No alcohol on premises *Negative coggins required *In consideration of the acceptance of any entry, the owner and/or exhibitor hereby releases and agrees not to hold show management and/or Old Mill Equestrian Center from any liabilities for damage or loss if any suffered or sustained by owner, exhibitor, or handler of such entries as a result of personal injury or property damage or theft occurring in connection with/or during these shows |
